2. Data processing when visiting the website
When you access our website we automatically collect technically necessary data transmitted by your browser:

- Date and time of the visit
- Volume of data transferred

- IP address (anonymised where applicable)
The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in secure, stable operation. This data is not shared with third parties except to ward off attacks or enforce legal claims.
3. Hosting and technical service providers
Our website runs on servers within the EU; a data processing agreement is in place with the provider. For optimisation and security we use:
- Cloudflare Inc. (USA) – protection against attacks and accelerated delivery; certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- 1&1 IONOS Internet SE (Germany) – hosting provider.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
4. Cookies
We use cookies to improve usability and provide features – session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) and persistent cookies.
Depending on purpose, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent), (b) (contract) or (f) (legitimate interest). You can control cookies via your browser settings.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, phone or form, we process your details solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, plus (b) where a contract is initiated. Data is deleted once processing is complete, unless retention obligations apply.
6. Social media and third parties
Embedded plugins (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Xing) are disabled by default (two-click solution) and only activate after your consent. Providers may transfer data to the USA; Meta and Cloudflare are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, LinkedIn uses EU standard contractual clauses.
7. Cloudflare Turnstile
To ward off automated attacks and protect against spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile – only with your explicit consent.

We have taken technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

If you reach us via a partner's affiliate link, information for attribution may be transmitted to us (e.g. affiliate ID, tracking/UTM parameters, referrer, access time, anonymised IP where applicable, technical data).
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (billing, abuse detection, improving our offering); where required for tracking cookies, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Data is shared only as far as necessary for billing with the partner or legal defence.
